What you need:
• 1 Large Pom Pom
• Foam Sheet
• 2 Large Jiggly Eyes
• Chenille Stems
• Elmer’s Tacky Glue, Elmer’s Glue All or Glue Gun (Adult supervision required when using a glue gun)
1. Take 3 feathers, place and glue them onto the back of the pom-pom. Let dry.
2. To create each leg, take one chenille stem and bend 3 small loops near the end of a stem. This creates the toes. Make 2 toes face forward and one toe to the back for support. Twist the loops so they are secure. Bend the straight piece to create the leg part. Cut the leg to the length you would like but leave some extra length for pushing into the pom-pom. Repeat to create a second leg. Add some glue to the tip of each leg, and push the stem at least a 1/4" into the pom-pom so your critter is stable and will stand.
3. Cut out a small triangle from your foam sheet for the beak and glue on. Place the jiggly eyes just above and adhere with glue.
